Shanghai Real Power Emerging Industry Investment Fund

Shanghai Real Power Emerging Industry Investment Fund is established and officially launched in July 2012. It is a private equity fund under limited partnership fund structure whereby Shanghai Real Power Capital Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary company of SIAM) is appointed the investment manager. The fund mainly invests in seven Chinese strategic emerging industries, i.e. energy saving and environmental protection, a new generation IT, biotechnology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy resources, new materials and new energy vehicles. It raised RMB 5 billion yuan in the first round with a registered capital of RMB 3.03 billion yuan and foreign currency capital amounting to RMB 2 billion.
